Trapped Under Ice

http://stuckinthecity.wordpress.com/2008/06/18/trapped-under-ice-interview/

Seriously seem like the nicest dudes. Hope to actually meet with them and stuff, so solid.

Today has been a pretty boring day, found out I work Saturday, too. One day off this week, awesome! Whatever, it's just extra money in my eyes. Just reinstalled PSP 8, definitely going to try and get better with merch design. Any tips? Holla at me.

On an end note, TUI will be ruling my day, so here's their video.

TAKE AWAY MY HURTTT-UH! Get down wid'it.

Myspace Bands

Cityscapes (Super good Minus the Bear-esk music)

Banner Pilot (A lot like the Ergs! in my opinion)

Brian Fallon (Singer for Gaslight's solo project)

Rotary (Catchy pop-rock)

Tigers Jaw (Awesome pop influenced rock, it rules)

Heart Eyes (Amazing solo artist, uses Ukelele)

Sincerely You, Sincerely Me (Justin from HighBeamLowBeam, seriously best stuff ever)

Great Lake Swimmers (Ambient folk, good chill out songs)

Check them all out, all deserve credit for their talent and hard work. You're welcome.

Grim Life

So, we've been around for...2 months or so now. Played one show, that we don't count because of a time limitation and a replacement drummer with 48 hours of practice. All in all, the first show wasn't a disaster, but we want it on lock for the next show.

Brian and Greg have been tearing it up at Chateau Grim (awesome name for an awesome casa), Greg has been learning drums just to record demos with, as Brian has picked up the guitar and gave us some pretty hard songs. Friday, Brad and I will trek over to CG and lay down our stuff.

Just hearing the recordings today, even with the quick line change for recording (Brian is usually on bass, Greg is on guitar. For recording purposes at the house when Brad and I aren't there, Greg takes on drums and Brian tears up the guitar), I think this band is going to go the fuck off. We all have fun, which is the important part, and we hope kids get into some of our music. I mean, there's even a song about skateboarding. (PS: posting a video at the end of the smoothest skate part I've seen in a fade)

If I haven't said it yet, thanks to Justin Ferg for filling in for our first show, you're the dude. He's in a band called She, which I have mentioned and gave a shout out to in my last blog.

So, keep up on us and hopefully our new stuff will be recorded soon. Definitely come out for the show on February 13th with She, Decepticide, and some other bands TBA. Hang out, tear it up, sing a long, get on stage, whatever. Thanks.

There's the video I promised. Just watch it, definitely worth the time.

Wings 'n Things

I've decided I'm going to let whatever hair will grow on my face to do so until March 24th. The day before we leave. Also, I think I'm going to get a pretty short haircut this weekend, so sick of long hair. I'll look like a total boner, but honestly, it'll grow out or I'll get used to it.

YO ALASKANS:

We're finally getting the only good hot wings back, better believe I'm eating 18 1/2 lbs of them when they reopen Friday. WINGS 'N THINGS, HOLLA AT ME!!

Also, Hardtimes.Ca has been doing some great interviews for the past two years or so, some of my favorite bands are on there. Check this one out on Sabertooth Zombie

Get at it.

Stoked for the Ceremony show

Gets me so amped. Kids need to go the fuck off.

Will be playing with them at the beginning of March, then seeing them again at United Blood, same with our boys in Trash Talk.

March is going to make 2009 the best year. Then after that, HELLO SOUND & FURY '09!

I'm ready for this year.

First blog - What up world?

So, I've had this account, never used it.

I guess my first post will be kind of an intro and a link to a band I think more people should listen to. I'm a kid bored in Alaska, wanting to make it in music. This is where I will post stuff I find that gets me stoked, pisses me off, or entertains me when I'm super bored.

So up first:

WITHDRAWN

My dudes from Arizona. Super pissed off, heavy as fuck, never disappoints. Drummer and bassist are youngsters that tear it up. Got their first EP in cue, and their recordings are up on myspace, check them out at

PS: My band is playing on Feb. 13th with a super cool local hardcore band called She. You can listen to their rough demos at

Get into 'em.

Two videos to make you mosh most in the bedroom and laugh your ass off.
